 we were SOOOO excited for the snow! we love to play in it, but the wind chills were well below zero this day,and the wind was awful! so we only played out for a little bit. Still, it was so much fun!

Back in Novemeber, Cailey got a virus that lasted a week. Cailey LOVES LOVES LOVES school and was so sad each day that she had to stay home. Every time her fever broke, she'd say in the sweetest little voice, "maybe it will stay gone and i can go to school tomorrow"  Here is her reaction after i told her she'd get to go to school after missing a whole week:

Ice Skating Dec. 2010

We had a blast ice skating! I didnt think the kids would like it as much as they did, but they LOVED it! The boys were brave and gave it a shot first. It took sister awhile to really decide if she wanted to. here is how our conversation went:

Cailey: "I really want to try it.... but i don't know if i want to"

Me: "It's ok, Cailey, you don't have to if you don't want to"

Cailey: "But i do want to!"

Me: "ok, lets go get you a pair of skates"

Cailey: "but i don't know if i want to... But i do!"

It took awhile, and but she finally gave it a try and i am so glad she did! She really enjoyed it and wants to go again! 

It didn't take any convincing the boys at all! It was really warm that day and the guy handing out the skated kept yelling "NO REFUNDS! IT'S WET AND IF YOU FALL YOU WILL BE SOAKED. MAKE SURE YOU REALLY WANT TO SKATE BEFORE YOU PAY! NO REFUNDS!!!" we kept asking the boys if they were sure and they were!

Canton absolutely LOVED ice skating! I loved watching him have so much fun!

and he is so sweet! he went to help his sister out. he grabbed her hand and guided her back to us. 

Cant wait till next year!!! but i bet we will go to the indoor rink before long!
