Ice Storm 2007

I am sure you all have seen enough coverage of the Ice Storm, but I wanted to share our pictures anyways. We lost power on Monday morning at about 9:00. After 6 hours of no electricity, our house started getting cold and dark, so we went out to Choctaw. It was so warm!!! Thank you Don and Sandy!! Our electricity came back on that night sometime. Haley and Marcus had to go to Mom's on Sunday night. Louis and Mom's electricity went out Tuesday morning and so they came out for dinner. Their electricity came back on on Wednesday morning. My brother who lives in Midwest City has had no power since Sunday night. They are going to mom's house tonight. Seems like musical houses, huh? Canton prayed at dinner time last night and he thanked God for our home, our electricity and for all the workers working on everybody's electricity. So sweet!

Christmas Time!

We went to get our Christmas Tree tonight. We looked and looked and looked and finally settled on this one! Isn't it perfect? The kids had so much fun decorating it and it looks beautiful! I don't think that they even noticed that it didn't touch the ceiling. We had a fun evening!

Well, as Chiara put it, it is my last year in my 20s! My parents took me and Haley to dinner tonight (Haley turns 21 tomorrow!!!) Thanks Mom and Lou, I had a great time!!
