more back to school pics

The kids had a GREAT start to school! Cailey got sick the second week of school and missed three days. She really hated missing and kept asking about her teacher and her friends. She got so excited when i told her she was well and was going to go back!! 

These are their school shirts this year. The boys couldn't wait to wear them, but Cailey missed the Friday it was "school shirt day" so they waited until she went to all wear them together. They are so sweet!!

I love these kids so much it isn't even funny!

Back to School

This year, all our kids are in public schools! all three of them. I can't believe it! It is so weird dropping all three kids off every morning. Cailey only goes for two and a half hours. We started this year off with a devo. We wanted the kids to remember that God has a plan for them and that they are going to do great things! We wanted them to remember that God is always on our side. We played and sang two awesome songs all morning! (these words i would say- by sidewalk prophets And Great is the Lord Almighty. Danny says that one sounds like a battle song. We LOVE to hear our children singing this song!

on the first day of school, we take the kids in. Canton went down to see his teacher from last year, said hi, and took off. His classroom is on the other side of the building now. He kinda waved and said BYE!! he was ready! Here is Callon in front of his classroom. 

Then, we walked Cailey down to her room. She went like a champ! (on the second day of school, she told me she wanted to go by herself. i try not to be sad about that, but happy that she is confident!)

and when we got home she asked for her baby. We then found her on the couch with comfy clothes, M&Ms, her baby, all snuggled up ready to watch Dora.

His teacher from last year went to the beach over the summer and brought him a shark's tooth. He was very very excited!

So, we HAD to head home on Thursday, but not without stopping for a night at Uncle Art and Aunt Lou's! Always good food, lots of laughs, and a lot of playing when we go see Art and Lou!! This time, all the boys  guys could talk about was Shotgun Golf. They couldn't wait to play!  I have never heard a bunch of boys guys laugh so much- they were having the time of their life! It was fun for the rest of us just to watch them.
