Callon's 1st tooth

Callon lost his tooth, exactly 2 weeks before he turns 5 years old! When it came out, we did not know where it was and we found it on the living room floor (that was a very hectic afternoon, Cailey was getting her PICC line taken out and he and Canton were having an argument and Callon took a ribbon, put it in his mouth, and out came a tooth that was not loose in the first place). He put it in his tooth box and was waiting for Daddy to come home so he could show him. When dad got home, there was no tooth box to be found. And still, one week later, we cannot find it. It is driving me crazy and I am constantly looking for it.

I told ya I was back!!
We went to our Bible Class Fall Party tonight! It was so fun! I am sure there will be more Halloween pictures, but no more of me and Danny! The kids loved that we dressed up! Well, Cailey was okay with it just until Danny put the "blood" on his mouth.

one month later....

I can not believe it has been one month since I last post something! WOW! Mostly, the reason is because I don't have a camera right now. I have thought about posting without pictures, but I always feel like I need to have a picture with my posts. It has definitely not been for the lack of excitement in our family the last month! We have moved two households into new homes, learned a parent is moving to another state, been through a heart procedure AND a double bypass, a cracked rib, and a hospitalization of a child in the last month.
Everything seems to be calming down and getting back to "normal". We have had to lean on each other and really put our Faith into God. The stress of closing on two houses, the wishes of wanting all your family together, the severity of a heart procedure, the annoyance of constant pain, and the fear of having a sick baby can really take a toll on one. You can learn what really is important in life!
Today, I am celebrating NINE years of marriage with my wonderful husband! I would not have wanted to go through ANY of this without him! He is my ROCK! He is so calm and strong and he has so much faith. We have been tremendously blessed in our nine plus years. It hasn't always been easy. We will always been learning and working on our relationship and striving to be Christ-like. But, I am very lucky to have him as my own. Happy 9th Anniversary Danny...... I am looking forward to celebrating many more with you! Even if it is at CiCi's ;)

Are you kidding?!?!?!

Canton got his first hit tonight and these are the pictures I got... Horrible! Oh well, it was a memory I will never forget!! He got to first, then second and then Catch hit him in to home! He came running out to me and Danny and he jumped up in my arms and it was all I could do to not cry! I was so happy for him! Way to go Canton!!!!

sooner fever!!

We were all decked out in our Sooner gear today. And they didn't even play today! HAHA!!! My mom wanted a picture of all her grandkids in OU shirts. Now, I will get her a copy of the biggest one they come in and she can frame it for her new home in Nebraska! UGH!!!!!
